This site allows you to create a Google Earth KMZ file of locations. These
locations can be either latitude and longitude coordinates, or addresses.
Lat/Long Points
To create a KMZ file of Lat and Long Points, the input file must be a delimited file with at least 4 columns.
The first column is for the name of the point. The second and third columns
are for the latitude and longitude values respectively. The last column is
for the color that you want the point to be. If you want to use a data balloon
(a data balloon is what is visible after you click on the point), then the other
columns would contain the values that you would want to be visible in the data balloon.

Address Points
To create a KMZ file of addresses, the input file must be a delimited
file with at least 3 columns. The first column is for the name of the point.
The second column is for the address. The address must be in the following
format: # and street name, City, State Zip Code, Country.
Ex1: 23 Archer Street, Chatswood, NSW 2067, Australia
Ex2: 1000 West Columbus Avenue, Springfield, MA 01105, United States
The last column is for the color that you want the point to be. If you want
to use a data balloon (a data balloon is what is visible after you click on the
point), then the other columns would contain the values that you would want to be
visible in the data balloon. To see an example of an input file in the correct
format, click on the button below to download one.
